I like understanding how things work, how they connect, and how they can be built.
Growing up, I watched my father adapt to life with a prosthetic leg, and seeing how thoughtful design could restore his independence left a lasting impression on me. Long before I could put it into words, it shaped how I paid attention to problems and to people.
I began my undergraduate studies in communications, with minors in philosophy and computer science, looking for ways to better understand people, reasoning, and systems. In graduate school, I discovered industrial design, where those interests came together in a way that felt both creative and practical.
Today, I bring that perspective to every project. Whether I am conducting user research, building prototypes, guiding products through manufacturing, or coordinating multidisciplinary teams, I focus on connecting research with strategy, ideas with execution, and people with solutions.

Across my career, I have worked on medical devices, assistive technology, consumer products, furniture, startups, and large scale international installations. While the contexts vary, my approach stays consistent. I ask thoughtful questions, collaborate closely with others, and help turn ambitious ideas into products that are both functional and meaningful.
That's the throughline in everything I've built since, from Dove Design LLC to my search for a full-time role in medical device design, R&D, or manufacturing: design that gives people back something real. If your team is building that kind of work, I'd like to be part of it.
